unwindRN Terms of Service
Effective date: July 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and unwindRN LLC (“unwindRN,” “we”) about your use of the unwindRN iOS app.
1. What unwindRN is — and is not
unwindRN is a personal debrief partner and career logbook for nurses. It is not:
- Therapy, counseling, or medical care. The debrief partner is an AI conversation tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or advise on any health condition — yours or anyone else’s.
- A clinical tool. It gives no medical advice and must not be used to make patient-care decisions.
- A crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number. The app points to 988 and never delays that.
- A system of record for patient care or a substitute for your employer’s documentation systems.
2. Your responsibilities
- No patient information. You agree not to enter information that could identify a patient — names, initials, room or bed numbers, record numbers, family details, or age-plus-diagnosis combinations. The app deflects and scrubs, but the obligation is shared: your entries are yours.
- Your account is yours. Keep access to your sign-in email or Apple ID secure; what’s saved under your account is presumed to be from you.
- Lawful, personal use. The app is for your individual professional use, not for resale, scraping, or automated access.
3. AI-generated content
Debrief replies and extracted record fields are generated by AI. They can be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong. They are reflections to help you process your shift — not facts, advice, or endorsements. You approve what enters your record and can edit or discard any of it.
4. Your content
Your shift records belong to you. You grant us only the license needed to store, process, and display them back to you — nothing more. Deleting your account ends that license and removes the content immediately.
5. Availability and changes
The beta is provided free of charge, “as is,” and may change, break, or be paused as we build. We may modify or discontinue features. If we ever introduce paid tiers, existing users will be told clearly before anything changes about their access.
6. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the app is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Our total liability is capped at the greater of $50 or what you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0 during the free beta).
7. Termination
You can stop using unwindRN at any time; deleting your account removes your data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (e.g., automated access, attempts to misuse the AI endpoints, or unlawful use), with notice where practicable.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we’ll note it in the app before the change takes effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
